Recirculation Intake Location

In an attempt to clean the HVAC ducts in my car, I sprayed lysol in the intake vents by the windshield wipers when I had the A/C on. It seems to help a lot, I don't have a musty smell when pulling in fresh air.

My problem now is when I turn on recirculation mode, I still have a smell. I thought I would just spray lysol in the passenger footwell and it would suck it up, but it didn't, because the intakes aren't there. I guess I'm used to those intakes being in the passenger footwell.

I looked in the owners manual, but I can't find their location. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Spray disinfectant into the cabin filter location (with filter removed and fan blowing). Modulate the spray too. Looking for the airflow to carry the particles. Also put in a new filter.

Oh no..not this again..

I replaced the cabin filter a couple months ago, it was insanely difficult getting that glove box to drop down. There isn't another way to get the lysol in there?
