4G Service in Future GM Cars

I pump a Verizon 4G hotspot where ever I go.

As a Verizon employee with a job in the Network group that involves implementation of new cell sites in my region it makes me smile to see the pro Verizon responses. I can't do anything about phone bills or free accessories or phones but I can vouch about the company continuously spending money on the network.

So now your "emergency" onstar will only work if your the lucky one to get a signal....and how lucky could you have been that you needed to use onstar at that point anyways???

I'm sure OnStar's functionality will be unaffected by this as OnStar has an agreement to be able to use any tower in the vicinity.

Meh...as long as Virgin Mobile is much less than half the price of Verizon per month, I'm not coming back.

No denying their network is the best though, but it's not worth the money to me.
