2nd gear traction

M6 SS guys with FI:
Do you lose traction at the top of second gear if you have the gas pushed all the way to the floor?

Do you shift out of second at such a low rpm because you know you are going to lose traction?

No, I usually just get out and get back in while still in 2nd gear and then it usually hooks ok when the rpms are on up there higher.....just like you saw in that video. I need bigger stickier meats obviously. But this is my DD and I'm also sticking to the Edelbrock rules for their powertrain warranty, so sticking to my street tires until I hit 36K miles.

The car is traction limited in first and 1/3 of second gear FBO M6. Going faster means bolting on 180 wear summer ultra performance 305 tires or 275 100 wear drag radials.... not glamorous.

I don't think so. It's not the first time. If you notice he hasn't posted in 2 weeks.
