LT2 intake, what is the better deal?
So I am about to pull the trigger on doing full bolt ons for my 23' 2SS. I have talked to my shop and they said the only thing I need to do is get the LT2 intake and LT5 TB.
Right now the best deal seems to be from SMG Speed shop. I know Gwatney Performance is the most recommended but would it be worth it for the price difference? Gwatney LT2, ported and prepped = $850 shipped SMG Speed LT2, ported and prepped + LT5 TB + Adapter = $950 shipped. Its $100 more, but buying the LT5, gaskets, and adapter separately would cost me over $250. Is there any reason not to take the better deal? (Just for reference, SMG Speed LT2 ported and prepped WITHOUT the LT5 and Adapter is $759 shipped, so almost $100 cheaper than Gwatney.)

It’s not like GPI is any better imo.
Allegedly, they were not shaving them properly for a while there and contacting the fuel pump

Gotcha. I think ill go with SMG Speed, I got shipping insurance on it and will test fit so I can send back if there is a problem.
