Magnetic numbers arrived

Car is filthy, and I put the 'S' on upside down. I was worried after ordering that the door shells may have been aluminum. All good though and ready for February

Cool!

They are so worth it. Taping numbers on is for the birds-that will eat into your course walkin' time! I got the ones shown in my avatar at izoom. Big car, big numbers LOL

Any thoughts on these things scratching the paint, especially when dirty?

Before every event or anytime I place them on the car I clean the area off with some quick detailer. Once they are on the door dont move them around on the door. If you end up moving them because you dont like where they are, take them off the door and place them where youd like.

I have the same ones, just make sure the area on the car you put the numbers/letters is clean and keep the back of numbers/letters clean.
Also used on track, they stay on at higher speeds.

I prefer to have the numbers all on one big magnetic sheet...not sure if you can see my avatar but they are on the car in that picture.

One thing to note, magnetic numbers will only stay on the car up to a certain speed then the air will lift them off. So they are super-fine for Autocross speeds but not so much for an open track day. I believe anything under 70-80 mph is just fine. Beyond that, I recommend putting some tape along the edges to ensure that air isn't able to lift them off the door as easily.
