Rear Clicking FIXED?

Just a quick update.

I had the rear differential that was clicking pretty bad.

Since I was updating the brakes I figured I try to tackle the clicking.

I updated with new bearings, rotors, pads, sensors and stainless steel brake lines.

I also change out fluid with Amsoil and 2oz(1/2 bottle)of Amsoil lsd additive

I really don’t know which cured it but I don’t have any rear differential clunking.

My $.02 try the Amsoil w/lsd first.

Haha.

My clicking went away when I changed the wheel bearings.

Now that looks like a fun weekend project... especially if there’s a few cold ones involved!

Curious, which spoiler/wicker bill set up is that? My son is wanting one for his “new to him” 1le.

Looks like a ZL1 spoiler with a wicker from ZL1 Addon or Aero Sport Concepts.

I bought the the car with the wicker in the trunk.
It’s a nice piece as they have a sunk in metal casing to bolt in wicker.
It’s probably fake carbon fiber plastic as the clear coat is peeling off.
It’s a 3 piece with a clear center section.
If that helps.

I had a small axle seal leak and went to get it fixed.

once it was changed, I noticed a click when i would go from reverse and then roll forward in first gear. And another click when i reversed a little again. It was so strange. It turns out they didnt tighten something properly after putting my wheel back on again. Simple fix
