5th gen Camaro SS wheels on 2018 Camaro SS?
I know there’s many threads on this topic but there’s a guy that’s looking to sell his 5th gen Camaro SS tires/wheels with all seasons. Does anybody know if they’ll fit? Will I have any issues with rubbing?

They should fit okay, however, you’ll need to put new TMPS sensors in the 5th gen wheels/tires. GM went to a different frequency with 6th gen. Hope that helps.

5th gen rims fit ok but tires will tub against front suspension.
I run a set for snows on my 2016 SS, but the 5th gen tires that originally were on the rims rubbed. It didn't matter to me since I was replacing the tires anyways, but when I test mounted with the original tires it rubbed. |

It does not work.
I traded my 5 gen for a 6 gen recently. I had just put new tires on the 5 and had the dealer try to swap the wheels from the 5 to the 6. No way Jose! It’s not the tire size cause they are the same. It’s the offset on the wheels. Not even close. The 6 is a smaller car and those wheel wells are tight. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I've been running 19 in gen 5 rims with 245/45-r19 blizzards and it's been fine.

I've been running 18" 5th gen wheels on my 2018 6th gen this winter with no issues whatsoever. The offset makes them tuck in a tad tighter, but not enough to cause any problems

5th gen 19s are x8 offset +38, 20s fronts are also x8 offset +35.
If you put the right size tire then the outter dimensions of the whole package should be close to the same whether 19s or 20s. The smaller offset of the 20s should actually help it clear the suspension compared to my 19s. I believe the fronts are the trouble so the backs should be fine. Btw, 5th gen 20s run different tire sizes from 6th gen 20s. (245/45ZR20 & 275/40ZR20 for 5th gen vs 245/40ZR20 & 275/35ZR20 for 6th gen). The tires definitely is the problem if you try to use 5th gen wheels on 6th gen. Just trying to help with more info. |

On my old 18 SS, I bought a set of used 5th gen SS wheels, put on a set of pirelli pzero high performance all seasons for year round use, and they fit perfectly.

Just bought some 2016 LT 245/R18 wheels with all seasons! Should be a fit and play situation!

My boss gave me his 2015 camaro SS 20" rims for my winter tires because he bought z28 rims. Fit fine, don't rub, just don't like the design as well as my gen 6 ss rims
