Low Mile ZL1's For Sale

I'm amazed at the number of used low mile ZL1's on the market right now most with a pretty high asking price.

I looked for a used one before I bought a new one. I wanted the automatic. All the used ones I seen where manuals and there was several to pick from. The cheapest one I seen was 59K with around 5 k miles. This was around 2 months ago Southeastern US search area. I wound up buying a new auto that listed for 68300. With discounts,2500 in rebates, and 3500 GM card cash I got it for that same 59K!! I figured people where selling the sticks because the auto had become more available and appeared to me to be very desirable.

the new cars are more expensive, and its not just the camaro's either, or chevy for that matter. prices have risen over the last 2-3 years, ask anyone who paid over 50k for an SS. people who bought a new car and kept if for a year still owe alot of money on them, and dealers know they can sell them at high prices because a brand new model prices have grown out of reach for a lot of people.

i just bought a new zl1 1le, the car out the door (with tax) was just over 80k!. it cost more than my parents house!

I think the dealers are hoping to cash in on some un-informed buyers. I bought my ZL1 new, for what they are trying to sell a lot of the used ones for. Plus if its used, you cant use your GM discounts on them.

For comparison's sake, I picked up my 2017 ZL1 last week out of Houston:
- 2600 miles
- Carbon hood, Nav, Moonroof, floor mats, winter mats, PDR, Auto
- MSRP just a tish under $70k
- CPO!
- Black

$58,700 I believe. I saved her from flooding too!

Seen the same thing. My local Chevy dealer just sold a manual with a few options with 4600 miles for 57k. The dodge dealer up the street has a ZL1 manual with no PDR, only NAV and Mylink. Asking 66k with 3800 miles. I told them I could buy a new one for cheaper and they laughed saying there was market adj. mark up like on the hellcats. I laughed and showed them the one Chevy just sold. Not to mention when I test drove it the car had a nasty pull to the left when letting go of the steering wheel. They said they wouldn't fix the issue until the car was sold. I told them I wouldn't even consider buying a car like this unless I knew what the problem was first. I walked as they kept lowering the price. Called me 1 min later after driving away with a final offer of 61k. I said no. The car has still been sitting on the lot for the last 2 weeks.

I wonder why people are buying them keeping them for 6mo then turning them in with low miles. I've seen several over the last few weeks with between 560 and 1600mi on them. Some good deals and some not.

I bought my ZL1 CPO with 1097 mi for 59,995 last week.

What's up people... too much powa? Unable to convince the wife?

I attribute it to 1 of 2 things:

1. Wife told the guy to sell it
2. They guy has $$ and doesn't care if he sells it back

Maybe there are others?

My car was driven by a woman named Valerie. Found it in the Bluetooth users list. The tires looked brand new. She had it 6mo. Go figure!
