I wouldn't expect it soon....and my guess is, that if it does come out, it will be on leftover 2010's that are around when the 2011 ordering starts.

I bought my car before it got to the dealer, without ordering it, thanks to chevy.com. MSRP was $38,875.00 I got it for $38,236.00, does this sound like a good deal? Edmunds said a good deal would have been $38,495.00 It's a RJT 2SS/RS Auto Trans, Black Rally Stripe, Sunroof

I thought I found someone that would sell me at near invoice but was told a SS 2 invoice is 32.585 and not 31,591. Is this acurate or not. He read the invoice of the options and they seemed right just. I need some help on this cause I need to order car soon if they cant find 1.

The employee pricing seems to have gone up the employee price is actually over invoice which tells me if your a good negotiator you can do better than employee perferred pricing.

From my understanding employee price is just a tad over dealer price. Dealer price was near 30,500. I think invoice is at 32587 right now.

i work at lowes, which offers their employees a discount on any GM car, i think its that i pay 10% more than an employee would get. But does anyone know if the camaro is exempt from this because its a new model, or would it vary by dealership? i asked a salesman at a dealership in houston n he said he thinks the camaro doesnt qualify. is this accurate, or does he just not want to sell it at a discounted price.

The Camaro is available for the Employee perferred pricing but it is not much of a discount. I just ordered one and wish I would have done alittle more research. Go to NADA and that will show you the list price which is less than employee pricing and start negotiating. I have been told by local dealers they are will to deal now on 2010's so if you don't mind taking one off the lot you can get a decent deal. GM is stroking the employee deal took away benefits and then make em pay more to buy there own product JMHO

Greetings everebody!
I'm from SLOVENIA and I would like to buy a brand new Camaro 2010 2SS/RS (rather a 2011 model, but the price list is based on a current 2010 model). I would like to ask someone, who knows on importing camaros in Europe, how is with approval, additional taxes etc. Can someone tell me (on the base of the price list) what's the TOTAL price tag for this camaro? Price and specs are taken from the web CARS.COM. I am saying something like 40% of the price of the whole car, BUT if I add the mods from LETHAL Performance, do these mods influent the overall taxes and approval? Are they charged too or do I just take my camaro to the LETHAL Performance, make the mods like if I am in US, and then the car is taxed by it's original 2SS/RS price or whole tuned car with all it's taxes etc.? - Quick Order PackagesMSRPInvoice Preferred Equipment Group 2SS N/CN/C

Mods added in LETHAL Performance: 1) Hydro Carbon Engine Cover $395.00 2) Hydro Carbon Fuse Box Cover $75.00 3) Hydro Carbon Radiator Shroud $245.00 4) Hydro Carbon Tail Light Bezels $210.00 5) Chin Spoiler $499.00 6) Hood with Grille $1,095.00 7) Rear Lower Valance $625.00 8) Composite High Lip Spoiler $565.00 9) Rockers (Side Skirts) $599.00 10) Max Energy Power Programmer $379.95 11) 1-7/8" Longtube Headers with Catted X-Pipe $1,799.95 12) Stainless Steel Axle-Back (Stinger) $765.99 13) Cold Air Intake System $339.90 14) Pro-Plus Suspension Kit $559.95 TOTAL LETHAL Performace: 8,153.74 $ Camaro 2010 2SS/RS + LETHAL Perfromance = 39,335 $ + 8,153.74 $ = TOTAL: 47,488.74 ~ 47,500 $ = 35.700 € The mods above gives me additional 80 RWHP, so it's like around 500 RWHP. This without a supercharger would be GREAT. I could also take the Whipple 2010 6.2L Camaro SS 2.9L Supercharger Comp Kit-Polished for 7,500 &, making it for about 800+ RWHP. But then I would need to add a brand new braking sistem, cooling sistem, new clutches, fuel injections etc., which gives me additional of AT LEAST 10.000 $, but I don't have the money for that. So, I was calculating on my own, that if the total would be 35.700 with the car and the mods, and if I add additional 40% of the price, based on the taxes, I would go for it for about 50.000 €. Is that correct or not? And what about the APPROVAL in SLOVENIA? Someone knows something about it? Thanks to everyone! Last edited by deni87; 04-25-2010 at 05:29 PM. |

About time JLS started offering that. Does that include the dealer packs too? so it will only be 350% over regular cost. So after all the extra stuff added and GMS pricing it should run only $4,000 - $5,000 over MSRP right?
