I thought about doing the AFM delete as well, but for the ever so tiny bit of vibration I get (or whatever the hell it is) I think I'll just skip it. If it gets any worse then I'll definitely get one, but if that's the case then I'm probably having tranny and/or shudder issues again anyways lol

A range AFM won't fix the shudder.

Right I know that, I'm just saying if my AFM seems worse down the road, then it might just be trans and/or shudder related anyways. Hopefully that never happens lol

Isn't Dexron III an old formula? Technically GM 's licensing program has ended for it. They sell it as manual trans fluid for the TR-6060 equipped Camaro.

Either way, odd they are actually going backwards with it. The OEM specs for the A8 is Dexron VI.

Sent from toaster or something

Flush took care of it...so far anyway...

Yea I messaged someone on the GM authority page and they responded that The dexron is the old fluid and that the Mobil 1 blue is the correct stuff. I commented in regards to the original persons post so maybe that person from my attached image was mistaken. Or their dealership was mistaken. Not sure. Lol. This was the person that responded comment.

I think the only official way they’d change it would be through a TSB right? Everything else is just old information like Jay proved or speculation
