I just can't do it...................

So I took BLUMAJK on a road trip to Fla this past weekend and man was it a sweet ride. I complained about the break in period in another thread but I took everyone's suggestion and just drove the damn thing. Gas mileage was great and quite surprising. I tracked in at around 22 mpg and 340 miles a tank. All highway by the way so not too much stop and go. I have to apologize to Recaro because once the seats are broken in a little they actually do feel pretty good. As far as the exhaust goes I don't have the need to want to switch it out any longer. The more I drive it the better it sounds.

But there is one problem that I do have. I just can't bring myself to just drive it if you know what I mean. I let my brother drive it (trying to convince him to get one) and he scared the crap out of me. I didn't know the car could do all that. That's a shame and felt kind of stupid that he could just drag my car and then I got behind the wheel and started babying it all over again. I don't seem to know what my problem is but I'm going to do it one day. Either way after 2 months of ownership I'm even more than satisfied with this car and can't wait to take more road trips in it.

You're not going to hurt it. Drive it like you stole it.

Someone once told me, by doing that, you are only keeping it good for the next guy.

Get out there and drive it like it’s meant to be driven.

This... My brother has always owned some great cars (3 Vettes and a 2011 Camaro (my favorite!)) and never drove any more than 2,000 miles or so before he sold them)... My 2020 2SS is approaching 6,000 miles (VERY well maintained and cared for, still looks like new (even the engine compartment))... But I really don't feel like I drive my car much but maybe I am doing OK... I want my car to stay Day 1 nice, and I'm doing my part to make that happen!...

It's a performance machine. It needs to be taken to its mechanical limits occasionally to maintain its spiritual integrity and structural longevity. 5500 RPM minimum after all fluids are at normal operating temperature.
