A10 has 'Rev Matching' too?
I realize the A10 its a slush box, but it seems to me that it has some rev matching, or maybe I can describe it as a rev bump before the gear drop when downshifting using the paddles. Its not a reaction to the gear already dropping down because the car doesn't slow until after the rev bump begins.
Am I crazy, or is there some computer rev matching going on?

it does "rev match" to make the downshift smoother

Yes, the A10 rev matches on downshifts.

...If it didn't rev match at all you'd be kissing the Camaro text on the steering wheel every downshift.
It doesn't rip downshifts like a PDK or Ferrari DCT but they're MUCH better than any torque converter automatic out there in my experience. |

I found something on the Camaro fanboy site (aka CarAndDriver)...
Chevy makes only minor adjustments to the transmission calibration as you switch between the ZL1’s driving modes. In the sport and track settings, the engine cuts fuel on upshifts for faster gearchanges, which are accompanied by a satisfying blat, yet the computer still targets the same shift points. That changes when enthusiastic driving triggers one of three performance algorithms, still in sport or track mode. The first level holds gears when you lift off the throttle and rev-matches on downshifts, while the most aggressive mode constantly holds the lowest possible gear. I should've researched more prior to my first post. Thanks all.

The A10 is awesome and does rev-match but there is a noticeable weight shift. I guess they couldn't make it as smooth as a PDK or DCT. On some of the corners on track, for instance, I wait for the shift and the forward weight transfer before turn in for extra front grip. The weight transfer isn't jarring but definitely noticeable.

The A-10 in the ZLE has very aggressive rev matching, particularly in Track/PTM mode.
