Nice Z Jan !
Today is a holiday for us Canadians, Victoria day for Queen Victoria . I have been on call so I have been unable to go to the cottage .this is when it sucks being on call when the weather fantastic . High 70s . Next week I have 60 sheets of drywall coming to the cottage , finally closing in all the walls and new ceilings . Rick did you sell the Impala ? |

Happy Victoria Day!
Have not sold it as of yet. There is an extremely interested person in Florida, but some affairs have to be arranged first. But they "want it". Going to miss it if it does sell.

Richard --- the 57 did not have a gas leak. Must have been fumes coming from the gas cap just behind the drivers door. 60 sheets of dry wall is a lot of screwing and mudding. You doing that work yourself.

John I am glad to hear there was no gas leak with the corvette , I love the lines of the car .
Yes my wife and I have done most of the reno ourselves, we gutted most of the interior . Put in new plumbing , electrical, new roof , insulation , Windows, doors and siding and aluminum soffits. We have done this mostly on wknds. I have a lift for putting the drywall up and I have a great helper . Last edited by 70rsz28; 05-24-2016 at 11:01 PM. |

Richard --- All the drywall I put up holding it with my head and running a screw gun made me believe that a drywall Jack has to be one of the best tools ever made.
BlueJay --- I might have to get one of those shirts. The young car guys at the car shows shake they heads when they see an old fart with a ZL1. That shirt sure would help matters more !!! John

Now that would deffnitely would be a better shirt for the ladies. Shows respect for a woman. Men have always been called old farts. In my opinion never call a lady an old Fart.
