Trick --- the "gypsies" camp looks great. That is the way I have gone to the races.

Rick --- the whole pool tile situation is not fun. I fill for you.

Jan --- yard looks great. You take pride in it and it shows.

As a tribute to my mom passing last week, I am attaching a picture of her with my dad and oldest brother. This picture had to be taken on Easter 1958. She loved cars. I come by it honestly.

Very cool...
I remember in 1964, my Dad let my Mom pick out whatever car she wanted for Mother's Day. She picked a Comet Caliente with a 289! Yellow with a black vinyl top, pretty hot back in the day :-)

John sorry honey hear about your mom, but I love the corvette though .

Trickskier nice set up .

Rick I hope the pool tile repairs turn out the way you want it to .
Jan we are all thinking about you and your daughter.

We have a huge forest fire in Fort McMurray Alberta where over 80,000 people have been evacuated ,including a hospital . Some parts of the city have burnt you the ground . It is not a very good situation but so far no loss of life

So sorry for your loss John. Great pic.

Hurray for Friday! My daughter will be home for a few days next week for a visit. I will have to work but will get to visit with her in the evenings. Glad we will get to spend some more time together before we start the ordeal of her surgery/treatment.

Haven't spent much time driving or tinkering with my cars the last couple weeks, been busy redoing our kitchen & guest bathroom. They were a bright yellow, which neither my wife or I liked. Here are a couple before & after pics ...

Sorry to hear of your mom, John.

Nice work Welker.

Several storms blew through here tonight. No damage, but I could not go to the cruise.

Jealous of the Talladega pics. I'm having a hard time going to a race, missing that special person I used to go with......makes it hard to go back

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mom. It's hard to see them go for sure. My mom's been gone almost 3 years now.

Enjoying my first weekend in a while not working on home repair. Took the new 5th wheel trailer to Cleveland my first trip towing with this truck and trailer. I was impressed with how well it towed as I am pulling near the limits of my trucks rating. It did not break a sweat rarely went above 3000 RPM transmission temp never broke 200 degrees.

Glad it worked out Zandron.

Did a photo shoot on the Impala today. Going to try advertising it on the Web. Love using my new remote speedlight (flash) triggers! Just hope the photos turned out good.

While I was shooting, I noticed one valve cover gasket is leaking and the oil pressure switch is leaking. Had the switch, but needed the socket. Bought some gaskets too while waiting for my wife's tire rotation to be completed.

Welker --- your rooms look so much better with out the YELLOW !!!

Zandron --- Post up a picture of your new rig. Would love to see it.

Jan --- Just realized that was not your yard!! Very nice none the less. Your yard is always perfect from pictures past. Thinking of you and your daughter.

Still have not started the vette for the first time this spring. Working seven days a week and the weather has got in the way. Maybe tomorrow!!

Have a safe Mother's Day everyone!!

John
