Got home from Florida this afternoon. Drove about 1300 miles over the last two days and slept about 5 hours last night so I am tired. Back to work tomorrow with a party after work so I will need to crash early tonight. I gave my wife my Southwest voucher so she can fly back in two weeks to visit. I will stay home with the dogs it will be easier that way. Next we have to clean, pack and get their house here ready for sale so looks like I will be busy this winter. I may go back to Florida next month if it looks like his condition is not improving. If the chemotherapy works then I may delay it till spring. We have put our 25th anniversary trip on hold to save vacation time and money to go to Florida.

1300 miles in 2 days is a tough on anyone! Saying a prayer that the treatment is successful for your Father-In-Law - Godspeed!

Now that I am an old fart and after open heart surgery, there is no way I can do 1300 miles in two days. Get some rest.

Glad you are safely home Zandron. Hope treatments go well for him. Sorry your anniversary plans have to be put on the back burner but family first.

Time for me to turn in early to get ready for my day tomorrow. Man, I hope they pull that darn tooth & that it is not too painful since I just don't do pain meds well. Nighty night.

Hope all goes well Zandron.

Good luck getting that plate # imp.

I overdid it today. Hope the 800mg ibuprofen takes care of my pain. But I did finish lots of chores.

Tough time for you all. Hope things improve. We went to Oklahoma this past week so that my father in law could meet and visit with the great grandkids. We've lost everyone in that generation except him, so we want to make sure we get some time with him.

On another subject, those earthquakes in Oklahoma are FOR REALZ
Spent nights with my friend in Edmond north of OKC and got rocked out of bed on New Year's day at 5:39 AM more or less, power went out, but I just went back to sleep. Kind of disturbing though

You're correct - A good friend of mine is a surgeon. He told me that 4 over the counter ibuprofen = 1 Prescription strength.

My doctor once told me don't always take two Ibuprofen as suggested. He said it is best to see if one pill will do the job.

That's good advice - But sometimes I can't wait to see if only one pill will work. If you know what I mean........

800 mg is a previous presciption that we still have here in the house. 200 mg never helps me, 400 mg sometimes will when I have a mild headache, 600 - 800 mg always does what I need it to do, and I only need one dosage. Even with crappy weather, I feel great today.

Now this is a weather forecast you don't see here in the valley very often! They expect some high water issues later in the week.

Gonna be a very cold Saturday Cruise day.

Rick - All I know is that the weather was absolutely beautiful when I was there until Sunday and it rained all day! They didn't start the NASCAR race until 7:30 pm --- Just my luck......
