Yo-yos can be used as weapons, so I'll skip giving them to the volatile patients...
I think that is a great idea! Very cool of you to do that.

Happy hump day! Sitting here at the dealer getting the trunk seal replaced on the Camaro. Then off to work. Those of you with convertibles check the seal where the electrical cable goes into the trunk mine was very tight and was rubbing on the seal wearing it away.

Since I'll be on the road Friday, thought I'd post my Friday fotos today. Since today is the 68th anniversary of D Day...
The American cemetary at Normandy:

One of the unknowns:

The memorial at Omaha Beach:

My grandfather survived that day, so seeing those places was really moving.

Speaking of shoes I got these a few weeks ago inspired by the Camaro of course. Can you tell I am getting bored here at the dealer.

The service area is not attached to the showroom. Its in the city so they have different parts of the dealership spread over a few blocks since there is not enough room for it to be together. It was raining so I did not cross the street to check out some Camaros they have there

Nice shoes Zandron. Planning on getting matching "shoes" for your ride?

LBM, thanks for posting. These stirring pictures are solemn reminder of the hard won freedoms and delivery from the tyranny of over 50 years ago.

May we never forget.

Great video. Well, great if you are not the guy in the Cessna. He may have been used to flying a 172 instead of a 170.

Does that one lady still bathe in the bathroom? Is she the one that thinks the government is listening?

Awesome pics.

HotRodSally, do you have your interstellar overdrive tuned and ready? How about your cloaking device? Has it had it's flux capacitor changed lately? When we get to Tahoe we may have to install a set in LBM's car. She needs to not be seen at all by those Oregon Patrolman.

Dad was in Germany for the big one, missed Normandy but got stuck in Bastogne during the German tank offensive. Only heard him talk about it twice in my life time. I thought it was cool, but didn't realize they were mostly just teenagers, watching good friends die right beside them..... war truly is hell.

Got bless our fighting men, young and old... Thank you all, sincerely.

+1
Great Uncle survived the Invasion but was KIA later on in the Battle. We found his gravesite on Google of all places Have his Purple Heart and a bunch of other personal items. The Screaming Eagle was my late father's. Next summer we hope to visit his grave. Sure do have a lot to be grateful for. All Gave Some Some Gave All.
