TR-6060

Good evening gents,

I'm curious as to how beefy the manual trannys in these SS's are. I really enjoy ripping through the gears and just want to weigh my options as far as it being worth it to go automatic if i'm going to be breaking this tranny every time I bang through the gears. I was looking at buying a new 5.0 but the MT-82 trannys seem to be hit or miss....for the most part pretty garbage, which is why Im looking at the new SS instead. That and the LT-1...I plan on keeping the car bone stock, maybe stickier tires later.

The MT-82 is a piece of crap.

The TR-6060 is a much stronger tranny. It is a updated version of the T-56. This one is slightly updated with rev match.

Same basic tranny comes in the Viper, Hellcat, ZR1, etc, etc...
