subwoofer/amp advice

Hey folks....just want add some bass to my stock BOSE setup. I'm old, I listen to 80's rock. Thinking of doing:
1. sub thump harness/anc delete kit $89
2. sub thump front firing single 12" box (6G-FF110/112) $219 (i want a clean look)
3. SKAR RP-1200.1D amp. $148
4. SKAR SVR-12 D2 sub. $136
5. AudioControl LC2i - $115

I know the SKAR stuff is kinda iffy...not really sure, new to this.
wondering if the sub is that bad that upgrading to a Rockford Fosgate P2D2-12 is worth double the price.

thought?

Thanks in advance

If you are just looking for a little bump that will get it done. Especially for 80's rock, not a lot of bass in most of it.

The only downside is I believe the OE head unit starts to roll off the bass at higher volume levels to protect the factory speakers. Just make sure the enclosure will fit through the trunk opening, it is a small odd size.

Thanks for the response. It's the custom box from sub thump (6G-FF110/112) made to fit in the rear seat/trunk opening.

I agree, that should get the job done.
