I think their the same as a non 1LE, so between 9mm and 10mm.

I believe both front and rear pads have the same depth.

Mine are at 6mm, so wanted to replace with 50% wear remaining
Thanks !

5mm should be the point of decision of replacing with 4mm being the point of you better replace it.

Curious does replacing them at 5mm eliminate any pedal pulse or thats just a given and its going occur, given you're using the same rotors?

Pretty sure a pulsing pedal is rotor related.... dont think new pads will help that

I agree that it is. I always wondered if not driving pads down to their limits would help with not having the rotors warp the way they do.

Rotors will warp no matter if pads are new or bare metal. Rotors that are hot and pads that have stuff in them can cause the rotors to warp. Uneven wear and with everything being hot, will cause the rotors to take a new shape.

So if you're riding your brakes a lot or do a lot of road course racing then this will happen.

The OEM rotors seem more durable than others like the Girodiscs from my Evo X. 12 track days and 12k miles on mine, almost all track or canyons, and they're still in good shape. I've used both OEM pads and Ferodo DS 1.11.

I have noticed that with either RB 660 or Brembo Racing fluid, I get some overheat leakage around the reservoir cap on track. Not a lot but still surprising, I check and clean the cap and rubber seal, and still it happens.

Anyone else have this experience? Maybe I need a new cap but it looks fine.

Im using HTC 64 and have not seen any leakage.

Confirmed on the rotors and thats kind of what I figured. Im about to change pads at 7k miles..I hate the pulsing pedal lol. Hopefully I wear these pads out sooner and ill do both rotors and pads next time around.

There's a tiny slit in the middle of the rubber seal, and a tiny groove beneath that seal on the cap. I believe the slit is for relief. The vapor may carry some fluid with it out from the cap onto your master cylinder. I have, as have others in the Gen5/6 had this light leakage. I have been keeping my fluid level a little bit lower from max. And I think the more the brake system is heated, the larger the leakage. I've had it happen no matter the brand of fluid.
