Congrats. I like the Satin Steel color on the 6th gens. My son has a 2021 Silverado in Satin Steel and it looks good all the time sun or shade and hides dirt fairly well. Yep post pics when you receive your new ride. Good luck with the transporting process. I have done it once with a new car and it went flawlessly for me.

Congratulations! The car I found was delivered to the dealership today too. And I'm having it shipped to me. The salesman sent me some pictures earlier today. Can't wait to get it.

That's the mark of a quality salesmen: realizing that in modern sales, building a relationship is far more valuable than treating someone as a quick buck.

My salesmen and I BS all the time about cars or other stuff, nothing to do with my sale. He treated me well, and I'll happily come back to him again, as well as send others to him.

Yes, but how often have you moved your leg into position to release the parking brake from the vehicle you were used to driving? I swear I have done that once already. Fortunately, the Camaro sits so different that I have no other choice than to remember that I have to shift gears, or feather the gas.

This is my first vehicle with an electronic parking brake. I hope that I don't have any problems with it, since it's a 6-speed. My daily driver has a foot actuated brake, and the car I got rid of had a traditional pull lever in the console. Is there a way to manually adjust the electronic brake easily or is it self-adjusting?

I want to say it's self adjusting, but I haven't found anything specific, and what I did find are from other competing forums so I'm not sure how it would be taken if I were to post. My daily is a Nissan Leaf, and just today I found myself trying to throw the small nub gear shifter to the right and up to put it in reverse. I joked with someone that it looks like a robot boob.




Hopefully I don't go to sleep behind the wheel of the Camaro and forget that I'm not in the Leaf. The Leaf has "one pedal" driving mode which stops the car if the accelerator isn't stepped on. I can see myself taking my foot off of the accelerator in the Camaro thinking that it'll come to a stop as if I were applying the brakes. Good thing driving the Camaro is so engaging.

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience with John Bowman Chevrolet in Clarkston, MI. My salesman, Brian Crawford, has been 100% straightforward and honest with me. They let me know all the existing Camaro orders that they had inbound to their dealership, and sent me the build sheet of the one I picked before I hung up the phone with them. They sold the car for MSRP minus my $500 military rebate. I was told they would honor the GM employee or supplier prices if I was eligible, which I wasn't. There was no attempt to upsell me on anything, and the process went smoothly and quickly. I would 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a Chevrolet.

I just heard from them that they might have LT1 for grabs.
