if you have a back to back dyno test of RF vs stock airbox with green filter I'd love to see it, otherwise it's just more speculation.
People want to feel validated for spending $500 on an aftermarket airbox |

I was told by Vengeance Racing it was one of the highest they've seen on their dyno for stock, or near stock if you want to count the Rotofab and catback. That being said, my car also didn't gain as much as a typical ZL1 would with the same mods. Most would see around 120whp increase and mine gained about 100whp, in the end, I still ran into the 700whp fuel wall.

Cold day?
Always amazes me when people take their car (esp boosted) in for a dyno run in July with 95% humidity and expect to see good numbers. |

How loud was your AWE catback? Any regrets with it?

With stock exhaust manifolds through the stock cats, its the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on any car except maybe a Shelby GT350. With the headers installed and green cats, its obnoxiously loud. I'm about to add the Magnaflow X muffler right behind the green cats next week. It seems a lot of people are happy with that solution. Its not even so much that I dislike how loud it is right now, but its so loud that I feel like every time I want to play a little, every cop in a 5 mile radius can probably hear me which worries me sometimes.

Just curious, how does everyone feel about the "free flowing" filters allowing for more small contaminants to get past the filter? At least based on these type of videos? And I have to admit, I'm currently running an OTR intake system with a similar filter element and love the SOTP feel that there's more power, but I don't like the idea of the filter allowing contaminants in (if we're to believe that the K&N element does allow these contaminants in per the video).
