Timing being pulled when spraying

When spraying 100 shot, 15 degrees of timing is being pulled. Running stock tune, LT2 intake, GM cold air intake, logging with HP Tuners. Is this normal to see this much timing being pulled or is torque management kicking in?

That is too much timing being pulled for a 100shot.

If you datalog the right channels in VCM Scanner it’ll tell you what source is pulling the timing.

How are you pulling timing for the Nitrous? It looks to me like the ECU is defaulting to the low octane spark table due to the base advance number being so low. Try copying the High octane table to the low octane table.

Once you get that sorted then you will likely need to up your peak torque limits and driver demand table to keep the throttle from closing.

what would make it (or what sensor) would make it revert back to the low octane table.

Usually knock sensors...also I know on older GM ECU's they would default to low octane tables if the MAF was disabled running open loop SD. but without more details, looking at the tune, and seeing how the system is setup to pull timing on activation all I can do is speculate.
