Question about trunks
I have a 2017 and I want to get a cargo net that goes all the way across my trunk so if I put a few bags of groceries in there, they don’t slide all the way forward. I found one on amazon, but it was for a 5th gen and it said it will not fit my car. I don’t know what the difference is between a 5th and 6th gen trunk. Will it work or no? I’ve looked everywhere on the internet for a 6th gen one and can’t find it anywhere. Any ideas? Thanks a lot

I've only found the stock small one on Amazon that hardly holds anything. I put a foldable crate in the trunk then bungeed it to the net. It dosent move anywhere even with the trunk mat I have in.

I bought the trunk caddy from CamaroCollection. I am sure there are cheaper versions of it available. It is not a net though it does work well. I can put a gallon of milk in one of the partitions and then a bag or two in the other partitions.

I was looking and gave up. Someone suggested the collapsible CleverMade crates so went with that. Holds 3-4 grocery bags. Anything that doesn't fit, I put in front of it near the trunk and they don't move so pretty happy with it.

i got this
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Auto-Rear-T...t/333655559392 1 attached the 4 nubs to the trunk liner with bolts & 3/4" square nuts on the back that i had. the net was a little too wide, so i tied loops in the elastic to tighten it up. |

Trunk? What trunk?!
Trade your coupe in for a convertible and your grocery bags will fit perfectly. About three of them. Already comes with a handy trunk divider that will partition off the trunk if the top is up, and if down it doesn’t matter anyway! In lieu of two of the grocery bags you can fit a Playmate cooler, plus one grocery bag or a small duffel bag!

I don't have a convertible so I don't know how much room the top takes, but my trunk has a ton of space... it's just the opening to the trunk is small. I haven't had any need, but I do believe the backseats will fold down as well. I think if I was desperate I could fit 3 of the trunk caddy systems in there, two lengthwise and one across nearest the opening.
It's a lot more space than even I thought until I started using it. Again, it's just the small opening that is the limiting factor. Groceries though, I can put quite a bit in there. |

Trunk? Is it supposed to serve a purpose??? lol
The "cargo shelf" behind the front seats is much roomier, and nicely upholstered too!.....seriously though, I do not grab groceries in the Camaro, I tried once and ended up scrambling my eggs before I got home! If I need trunk space I drive a different car.......roomy trunk yes, opening useless for the most part though. Not a concern as I did not buy the Camaro for trunk, backseat or anything of the kind...... |

I am using the OEM cargo net from my 2010 SS. I removed the plastic scrivets that attach the panels on the 2 corners to the tabs with a 6 mm bolt and resecured with a cargo nut. Then replaced the 2 nuts on the bottom with cargo nuts. Works great. I can get pics this evening if you want but there is a thread about it. Somewhere.
Well that took about 30 seconds https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=453340
