I have the SLP and really like it. Hurst is 44% reduction and the SLP is about half of that. SLP looks like it could have come stock in the Camaro.

How much cost / throw difference is the Hurst from Chevy offered as an option for the LS3 from the dealer? I like the way that one looks.

The factory Hurst is a 22% reduction and looks stock with just a small H to know it's the Hurst. The aftermarket is 44% and comes with a chrome stick and one to keep it looking stock if you choose. Cost is the same.

The more you see GM is putting in the ZL1 and compare with what you pay getting VS. buying A LA CARTE afterwards, the more you appreciate the work of all the designers and engineers. As much as I need the Automatic, I know having a short throw Hurst would be tons of fun. Imagining just a flick of the wrist to get to the next gear without having to move your arm!
Then again, think back to the 69 Hemi RoadRunners with the PiStol grip and the tall shifter arm... That was a mother lode to take thru the H's!! LOL |

Barton is the best hands down. Its the only one on the market that you can adjust the height of the stick
