Lease is up in November! It's been a great car. No complaints other than the paint

It's alright, even growing up a Camaro/Firebird guy (my first car was a used 1987 Camaro Z28), I always thought the Mustang GTs sounded better gen to gen.

hahaha I wish!

I have accepted the fact that a Mustang/Camaro is not in my future anytime soon. We just had our second kid two months ago so probably going to need something a bit more family oriented than one of those. Probably wait a few years and try to pick up an older one as a project car.

Nothing that an aftermarket exhaust can't solve, although I love the sound of my Camaro more than the Mustang even stock.

Incorrect answer, try again. I have 3 kids! None in car seats, though. A rear facing baby seat in the back of the Camaro or Mustang would be really tough so I get it. They can do a compact-ish forward facing seat just fine, though.

While I think my GT w/ the Borla exhaust note sounds better, I do love the sound of the ZL1 as a whole. It sounds angry under load, and awesome.

LOL yeah both of mine are in car seats and going to be in them for a while. almost 3 year old and 2 month old so I still have plenty of time with car seats. Combine that with a lot of summer time activities that take up space in the car and timing just isn't right....now if I could swing 3 cars then different story lol

A forward facing car seat in the back of my Mustang wasn't bad at all. When I test drove it back in 2018, I test fit the car seat from my Mazdaspeed3 (at the time) to make sure it fit! But, he could strap in and buckle himself. It would be really hard to do that with a 2 year old and newborn in either pony car.

I have no idea what your budget is, but you could go Hellcat Charger, or even Scat Pack Charger. Big (and heavy) cars!

Congrats on the baby, btw!

Regarding the super pony cars (ZL1, GT500, Hellcat Redeyes Chally and Charger), I believe they are likely the last of their breed. Manufacturers are talking about going to full electric, not developing any new ICEs, etc., and emissions requirements are getting more stringent. I hope I'm wrong, but time will tell. The last and best of their breeds may indeed be harder to purchase (in good condition) years from now when ICE super pony cars are no longer made. I bet well cared for and stock ones will be hard to come by in 10 or esp. 15 years.

Awesome looking ZL1. Congrats OP on coming towards the light from the dark side. And now you have the best supercar bargain on the planet.

And you do not have to fix or repair your Camaro every day like with the Mustang.

And I know from experience finding the car on the road disabled is a bummer.
