Which exhaust has least drone

Looking for feedback regarding drone for axleback system. I have the StainlessWorks setup (non-npp). I love the way it looks and from outside the car it’s amazing.

Cruising around town, I like it too. But cruising around 70...too much drone. It is really anytime I am around 1500 RPM’s...the car is loud now given everything I have done, so I am ok dialing it back.

I was really thinking about the QTP system that has the mild and wild setup. Flowmaster looks really nice. Obviously Borla and Corsa are probably good choices too.

Any recommendations for avoiding drone?

Automatic tranny? Manual you need to downshift one gear, shouldn't be running it @ 1500 and the car is trying to tell you this.

Stay far away from the Magnaflow system on these cars. As said, multiple friends have used the Corsa system and none of them had drone on their cars.

MBRP is almost silent during cruising. Dare I say quieter than stock NPP until you open it up. Zero drone at any RPM. Just got back from a 300 mile round trip and didn't bother me a bit.

There are a bunch of folks recommending Corsa here. My only comment on it is to go for a ride in a car with a Corsa system before buying it. My buddy has their System on his C7 vette and its the most obnoxious raspy POS any of us have ever heard.

Maybe it's different on Camaro. Can't see how or why it would be but maybe.

well I see you have some mods, is your afm tuned out? I have the Borla Attak and no drone at all. I am using the diablo sprint to turn off my afm.

I've installed about every exhaust system you can think of. I have also had Hooker and Corsa on my personal 6th gen Camaro. Corsa will have the least drone of ANY muffler you can buy.

Since you're happy with the current exhaust note and just want to lessen the resonance you may want to consider adding a resonator somewhere back into the exhaust system. If you still have the stock X-pipe and are looking to replace the muffler with something easier on the ears then take a look at the Flowmaster FlowFX Axle-back system (part# 717744). This Axle-back system will offer an aggressive exterior note, but due to the straight-through design of the muffler, you can expect a moderate level of interior resonance (drone). I'm not sure how the FlowFX will compare to what you have now so I included a YouTube clip below of the system. If you have any additional questions please feel free to PM me or call 707-544-4761 and speak with a member of our Support Team.

MBRP easily. It's the only exhaust that has a J pipe to cut out all done. All the other exhausts just use mufflers which do not.
