This harness plugs inline to your factory fan harness and allows you to override factory settings for both Low and High. Great for track use or added cooling!

Will the fans ONLY work with the switch or still work when the car tells it to turn on the fans?

My fan runs on high all the time....

The switch is just an override. So if it is in the off position, the ECM will continue to control the fans as normal! If you turn the switch to Low or High, it overrides the ECM and switches them on to that setting. Thanks for your question!

After my cam change (new tune), my fan runs on high all the time and even though I've read 300 seconds is the max it will run on shut down, it seems to run longer. I posted here too:

I'm checking my temp switch on the water pump, but unlike the thread above, my temp gauge works. The ProCharger setup has the MAF cables HARD against the fan shroud, (the could have pivoted the MAF maybe 5 degrees toward the engine)! The reason I mention that is the intake temp sensor is in the MAF. Dunno but the car thinks and acts like it is overheating but the gauge etc says normal operating temp.

Does it have a timer, or if forgot about they will run forever???

It does not have a timer, it will run so long as you have the switch in the ON position.

These have been working great for us so far! Sorry I didn't answer your question sooner, things have been insane around here, in a good way

I run at a very busy track and always have a problem keeping cool in the staging lanes. We were going to hard wire it and run wire for a switch so no need to do that now. They have it covered.
