How much gas in the ZL1 tank?

How much gas do you want in the tank at the starting line? 2-3 gal.?

I have the Fore system so we always run it at least 3/4 tank so it doesn’t cavitate, but with the stock pump I would run it at 1/4 tank to save weight.

I would recommend no less than 1/4 a tank, which is 4.75 gallons. I've had fuel starvation issues on the road course (lateral G) with less.

There's no need to create a new thread for this question:

I use 1st gear delete, so in the water box, can I start the tires spinning in 2nd and quicklyshift to 3rd w/o endangering clutches? Using MT ET Street R 325/15

1/4-3/8 is the text book answer and the range I always stay at after having my cars fall on their faces 60-100’ out.

I would say a max of 3 gallons, run as light as you can. And it depends how many 1/4 mile passes you plan on making.

A gallon of gas is about six-pounds.
