Has anyone seen this "scrape armor" re-inforcement for the front GM splitter or had any experience with installing it with a splitter?

Can't tell if the two are compatible or if it would offer some help/reinforcement while I'm replacing my original front air dam/splitter? Dealer can't offer any input either...!?

Sorry about the poor photo quality!

O.K. Last post regarding front splitter- if you're thinking when you go to replace your original (after one too many and an interlude with the curb), that double side 3-M tape is some serious stuff! after removing the 12 screws and drilling out the 4 pop rivets (5mm) I expected the front extension to drop off.

No such luck even after being on there 4 years! Fearing I was gonna damage something else expensive, I tried a run of WD40 followed by good old spray of penetrating oil. After 30 minutes rest (cheese burrito and a beer) it came off without much fight. Cleaned up with paper towels and rubbing alcohol and the new front air dam went on without any issue.

Just realized I shoulda took a picture- maybe tomorrow if anyone responds to this post. Have fun!
