About to go order a 2019 2SS

Here's what I'm planning:

2019 Camaro 2SS
Riverside Blue
Jet Black interior
6 speed manual
NPP exhaust
Magnetic Ride Control
carbon flash wheels (56V)

Request a copy of the order workbench for tracking
Request no dealer emblem
Request to not drill holes or install front license plate bracket

Is there anything I'm missing or any other tips?

I would order a 1LE, but I can't justify the cost because I will probably never end up tracking it. I am going to get the MRC, so I can adjust the ride, at least.

Sounds like a great plan Also ask for no detail if you want to avoid paint scratches altogether.

Just one more thing, I bought the factory navigation, too, because it's integrated with the HUD and the gauge cluster (displays turns, instructions and speed limits) and wasn't expensive. I know many dismiss it and say how superior waze and google maps are, which may or may not be the case, but you can have a choice at any time for an initial $495.

Sounds good. Give the car a good look over before you walk/drive away. It's very easy to get excited and tell yourself, "ah, it looks pretty good, I don't really need to get all nerdy with looking it over;" only to get home and notice that there is a small, but noticeable scratch on an interior panel or a chip somewhere there wouldn't be from just driving (or maybe possible due to driving, but you aren't sure because you didn't nerd-out).

Enjoy! The SS with just MRC is still a fantastic car and your decision makes total sense. If you want to dip into 1LE territory -> stickier, wider tires and wheels, a sway bar and performance alignment goes a long way in these cars!

Congrats! You will have fun bringing a new car home.

Mine came with a trick front license plate holder that is no drill and clamps to the grill. Easy off with no marks.

NO DETAIL!!! Tell them "Do Not Touch". I simply told them no detail and they hosed it off and tried to towel dry it. Put a big scratch on the hood. Years later, I am still disgusted...

Plate holder.

I purchased this one and keep the plate on bracket in the trunk. If i get pulled over I will simply say I forgot to put it back on after detailing the car.

I would +1 the look it over carefully, all angles before getting in and driving it off the lot. Forget what anyone thinks about you looking it over. Take your time and be comfortable knowing it's good. Have always done this with all my cars, until the most recent. First Camaro (2014 2LT RS) ordered and shipped from Canada - arrived with 3 dents on the rockers. Had the dealer use his PDR guy and he did a great job.
This go round (2018 SS 1LE) they found the one I wanted about 2-3 hours north of where I live. Had it trailered down. Dealer couldn't say enough about how hot the car was and man it looked great. Told them ahead of time DO NOT DETAIL IT and they didn't. Figured couldn't be any worse than last time so signed all the papers and they handed me the keys and out to the lot I went to check her out for the first time. Immediately noticed numerous small dents in the roof, then on the fenders, quarter panels, doors, pretty much effn everywhere. Went back inside as calmly as possible and notified the sales manager and salesperson. They came out and gave me their best "what, huh, oh wow, I can't believe they sent us this car routine". It was laughable. Clearly the car had been in a hail storm. They agreed to have it corrected to my satisfaction or no deal. So I took her home and and meticulously mapped every ding and dent. All in all I counted and taped off 26! Dropped it off the next day. Picked it up that evening and they said "you're not gonna believe this but not only did our PDR guy do a fantastic job and got all of the ones you noted out, but he found an additional 40 or so and took care of those as well"! As if I was suppose to feel better about being sold a car with crazy effn hail damage.
In the moment I was pissed and felt like they knew good and well that car had dings or they were just completely incompetent. Not like I got a discount after the fact either, like hey were really sorry about this shitty situation and were gonna knock off a $1000 or something. But the PDR guy did do an amazing job and there are no hints of damage or imperfections so lesson learned on my part. Look out for yourself. And no, never dealing with these punks again.
Sorry for the long rant but maybe it helps someone else be more aware and avoid the frustration.

Sounds like a nice ride! Yes check it over real close and no dealer emblem or sticker on the car. If they tell you they have to put one on before you take delivery then ask them how much they will give you a month for advertising the dealer on your Camaro. This is what I tell the dealers and the salesperson looks at me like lm crazy but I tell them I will have to charge them to run around on the roads and advertise for them!! And I think it’s part of the PDI process for new vehicles that a dealer is required to do.
