I think they ran them twice. In one run the PP2 beat the SLE and the SLE won the other one. But the PP2 overheated and went into limp mode after the 1st lap from what I remember.

Well hopefully there will be another one soon. And done properly.

I don't know which one is worse between the PP2 and the GT350.
Randy ran them both at both at laguna seca, on different days and the pp2 was slower. Rabdy also discussed the superiority of the 1le. Pp2 guys still clucth on to that lightning lap though lol.

I remember we all discussed that a long time ago. But there was one where the PP2 was faster than the SLE. I don't remember the specifics tho.

And my tires arrived today!! 4 MuchoMacho tires for the Hellcat...lease end in 4 months. And I ordered 4 PS4S tires for the ZL1. Unfortunately only the rears arrived. There was an error with my order and the 2 fronts were not in stock. So they refunded my money and now I have to wait for it to clear so I can order 2 new ones. Hellcat going in tomorrow for the tire change and I'll wait for the two fronts to do the ZL1. Next will be the 2" LTs, Maggie 2650, and tune!!

Oh wait, I'm lying. I don't own these cars nor am I doing any of this because all I do is make up stuff on here. I'll photoshop a Hellcat on a lift tomorrow getting tires done. Or I'll steal someone else's pics and claim it is my car. And I'll do the same when the blower and LTs arrive. Afterall I'm just a fraud.

But your point is still valid, there is no same-day same-driver test between theset two, and one second on a three minute lap could very easliy be due to conditions. We need a real head-to-head! ThrottleHouse did a head-to-head with these two cars, but put them both on the same tires, and the 1LE won by a bit more than one second on their local track.
And this is a short track with a sub 1:16 second lap, not good for Snack Pack 2 cars. GT350/R is slower as well when they can't exploit the HP advantage.

Here is a 249 MPH road course run: https://gtspirit.com/2012/04/06/koen...o-nurburgring/
oh yes... was holding on to this for a bit, since I figured he would stick to his lie till the end.
Camaro ZL1 1LE took 2.7 miles and it only got to 178, just in case you believes his BS about going past 180 mph on any road course in 'merica.
Fun fact he wouldn't even hit 180 on the Talladega speedway as it's longest straight is 2.5 miles.

You need to consider coming on to the straight ZL1/ZLE will be going well over 100MPH. So breaking 180... someone pass the easy button. Sorry, try again.

110 to 160 takes about 12 seconds in a ZL1. And approx a little less than half a mile. And it would still be climbing pretty fast.

"A ROAD COURSE IN AMERICA" Blaq is not from Germany.
actually it evolved into the meaning of a road course, please stop grasping at straws, there are serious flaws with the GT500, for instance the DCT in the Vette is limited to 590 lbs torque and limited to 7500 RPM on the input shaft. It could be as simple as that. I know it is a different trans, just point out there are limits to DCT that are somewhat unexpected.

edit fount the Mustang tr9080 dct and it has a max shaft speed of 9000 RPM
