Failing fuel pumps pole; how common? Has it happened to you?
Hey fellow ZL1 owners, has anyone had a failed fuel pump yet?
I've apparently had 2 in less than a year according to my dealership and I'm trying to figure out how unlucky I am or if there is something else causing the fuel pump to fail. I've never seen anyone mention this on the forum yet so I can't see this being a wide spread problem. I've never done a pole before, I hope the option I picked works.

I think model year at the minimum and miles should be considered. I have heard of the issue on '17s but not sure about '18+

I voted when this first came up. I have a 2018 with 9438 miles on it.
No issues other than having to tighten the front sway bar mounts.

Seeing as how my 2018 had the 1st fuel pump replaced after only a few months and a few thousand miles/kms I don't want to put a limit on mileage or model year.

Thanks for the responses guys!
Keep them coming! Also I learned from the service tech that apparently the "fuel pump" is an entire assembly of multiple components that includes pick up, air filter etc... and is about 12" by 8" so it sounds like each of those components in the assembly could fail individually, which would increase the chances of the "fuel pump' failing because it's not just a pump.
