Thought I would share - A8 1st to 2nd gear lurching forward

2017 50th Anniversary SS. Bought my CPO Camaro in November and put 7500 miles on it. It had 7500 on it when I bought it. A few weeks ago, after my 15000 mile service, it started shifting hard when it was cold, 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. I read on this forum that this is a common issue with the A8 and people just live with it. My buddy who drives a Camery couldn't wait to blow me crap one day going to lunch, that was the last straw. Still having my warranty I called my local dealer and took it in.

They said that there was a new update for my car and the tech was applying it, this took about an hour.

My car has never been better, I can't tell it's shifting and the throttle response is also better. it's like night and day. I smile again when driving it like I did with my 5th gen.

If you are having this issue go see you dealer for this update you'll be glad you did.

Couldn't find one and all they said was your car has an update, didn't even get paper work.
