I would recommend suspension - I drove a g35 a few times and I always thought the ride was terrible. I think this would fall more in the "other cars" section just above off topic

I'd start with a cold air intake. it's cheap, improves fuel efficiency, increases hp, and sounds great. Can't go wrong.

I would recommend a swap of the engine with the Camaro 3.6 engine.

The M35 is more luxury-oriented as compared to the G-series. It's not really the ideal candidate for "performance"-minded folks, but just about anything you can do with the G you can do with the M. It all depends on what she is looking for. If she likes the ride and has no interest in cornering harder, focus on the engine. The VQ has a lot of power already, but can be expanded even further with plenty of aftermarket support. If she wants to corner harder, suspension can easily be modified. First try to determine what she's looking for, then check out the G35 forums, a lot of information would be applicable.

From my Nissan days I'd say Uprev tune, intake and a catback is all you get out of the VQ in a M35.

There have been a slew of M35's in my area lately, that always try and pick a race with me while I'm in my ZL1.
