I tried to place an order for a 2SS 1LE auto two years ago this week. Still waiting for an allocation, which will likely never happen at this point. But just to pour salt on the wounds, the price has now gone up by $11,800??? FU GM!!!

My dealership has a 2SS 1LE M6 in that new yellowy color on the way. I think I'll get it. Bloody expensive though!

Still cheaper to buy in Canada. If buy the same car in US funds in the US, then do the US to CDN conversion exchange, then duty, taxes. Even bigger ouch.

That reminds me. In late 2020, GM Canada was giving a $5500 rebate on leftover 2020 Camaros (but not on the 2021s which had just came out). In late 2021, it was $1750. I think it was $7000 in 2019 but I'm not sure. You could not place an order and use the rebate, but there were still some cars sitting on dealer lots.
Ford Canada was also giving a $7000+ rebate on Mustang GT in late 2020.

With the cancelled employee discount and the price increase a 2024 2SS would cost me $15 000 Canadian more (including taxes) than what I was expecting to pay. I've cancelled my order, took back my deposit and I'm keeping my 2023 1SS.

When I got my 23' ZL1 Convertible, the sticker price was $91,593

I picked it up on Oct 30th 2022

It had every possible option. All Carbon Fiber accents, Zl1 cover, WindScreen, Battery Charger, Black Lug Nuts....Red Knee Pads..."Performance" Arm rest....etc etc etc etc...

I was able to get off 5200 from the sticker with gmpreferredpricing.ca as I work for a company that participates in the plan.

I am glad I got in on that savings because it isgone now at least on the Camaro...

I still only have 700 Kms on it... Makes for good viewing in my man cave..

Hello, If you don't mind me asking, did your dealer charge over the $116k MSRP on your collector edition?

I had my name in at 3 dealerships over a year ago and was number 1 on the list at all three. Sherwood Park Chev got an allocation and gave it to a guy that offered $160k for it. I called and asked WTF was going on when I seen it listed on their website. Salesman told me they gave it to this guy because they didn't think I would pay that. Which I wouldn't. Greedy bunch of crooks.

Seen another at my second dealership listed (Northgate Chev). Call and asked WTF. Told me I was number 3 on the list . The sales manager that had me down at No1 had left and the list was lost.

They both told me they were confident of getting another allocation. Which I doubt it. Guess I will just be happy with my 2022 ZL1.

Weird because I was no1 at North gate for CE and normal ZL1 ( for 2 yrs), and ask for my deposit back because they got no allocation last I heard a couple wks ago however heard they got an allocation from one of their other shops. Also got my deposit from Sherwood Chev because nothing and they mark everything up and admit they do. Glad the 3rd dealer at a smaller dealer got my car and it is built now ( ZL1) with no mark up and sitting at the GM lot waiting for shipping up here to Alberta
