Otherwise, these are the same panels they've been using since the beginning right, why would they suddenly have an issue?
I heard the panther logos are embarrassed to be part of a paint-and-parts-bin commemorative edition, so they’ve been jumping out of the cars and running away.
On a more serious note, thanks to you guys who have a real and current connection to Lansing and can help the participants here buy their dream cars.
It’s a door spear issue for the CE’s. I talked to the production planner yesterday. They gave engineering a 8/28 date to fix it. They are holding back all 2000 until this is resolved. Apparently, this is a door spear they used on another collector model and some how there is no part number attached to it. So they can’t build bc it’s not on the BOM. They will build wo and retrofit after 8/28 Dont k ow about you but I’d consider that pretty REAL AND CURRENT |

What an incredibly ridiculous reason for a 2- or 3-week delay. Are they trying to use all the leftover parts from past years on the ‘24s? |

My 24 2SS vert is at 3800 ( built) .
As far as constraints with door trim on 2SS, wonder if that means cars built after mine or mine will be sitting on the Lansing lot waiting for a fix. On another note, read that teens broke into (or swiped?) two Camaros and two Caddys last Thursday eve. Geez. |

He did state ALL confirmed orders (2000-3000) will be built in full as ordered. Not sure I believe it fully but gives me hope |

Yes. I think they used to be offered as an LPO as well. The dark night spears for those wondering.

My guess is on hand stock availability and CCA stock they can pull from. Still though, create a PN and add it to the BOM. Seems easier then engineers banging their head to figure what else they could use

Having a difficult time finding:
Does the 2SS CE include LPO NPP? Or do you still have to manually add it? |

I could not find it as part of the CE package on a 2SS, so I think you need to add NPP as an option.
