If the render of the yellow 2016 Camaro above is pretty much it, then I honestly don't see much of a change at all other than just a slight reworking to fit a slightly smaller car. The average person won't even know it's a new Camaro, I fear. To me, if that yellow render is basically what we are going to get, that doesn't look like much of an evolution....

The yellow render is way off.

Yes, it will look similar in shape and proportion from what we've seen, and it will still look like a Camaro. But the yellow car is simply someone taking a current car and modifying rather than what Chazcron has done which is start from the shape of the camoed prototypes.

Yellow render has a blunt nose on the hood which is not seen in either the camo or the gm teaser.

Perhaps the real reason there hasn't been a reveal or much hype for the 6thGen is that it really is no secret....

The LT-1 is known, the change of platform is common knowledge....so with just the styling being left to reveal, (and if that latest rendor is close to it), looking like a slightly modded 5th Gen, then what is there to really hype-up for a big reveal?

halos gave it a distinct look and made it stand out, and look way better than BMWs halos. Not saying it won't look good, but there are lots of cars with led strips under the headlights now in similar fashion.

That's a matter of opinion. Simple truth is BMW had halos first and it has been copied by the aftermarket and other manufacturers. The new trend is the LED bars.

I say the ones we have seen are probably the RS version. Who knows what the non RS will look like. But that is my guess.

The yellow car is not even close to the work Chazcron has done. Look at the door glass and quarter glass. Not close to the prototypes or Chazcron's renderings. Looks like a Mustang. The everything about the yellow car is simply a modified Gen 5. Look at the rear quarter panel. Again not even close.

Sorry, not sure what you are seeing in the yellow car that resembles the prototypes or Chazcron's work.
