With Equinox downsizing, a new crossover is in the works to slot between the now compact Equinox and full size Traverse.

A friend of mine keeps telling me they are going to make an el camino again... Yet i keep telling him that its probably not likely they will. Can anyone shed light on this?

See thats what I keep telling him but there are sites that apparently say it will happen. GM won't do it sadly.

There's a site constantly popping up on Facebook talking about a new Chevelle, so I'm not surprised.

The Holden VF Ute was under consideration. It even had a North American program code at one point. In the end, it was decided only the VF sedan was feasible, so all we get now is the SS sedan.

And with Holden manufacturing getting shut down, soon there won't even be a Ute to rebadge as an El Camino.

Same friend also has mentioned that we are getting a chevelle as well in 2016 so he probably is reading the same site. I remember when the Holden Ute was in consideration to be imported and i was very excited about it potentially coming over. With production being shut down there sadly the only solution to get a newish ute will be to import one when its possible.

Oh and theres also been mention of a new Cuda coming out as well but i have no clue where that stands.
