No halos for me
So I went all through town today and did some asking, and apparently in California halos unless stock are illegal. Which is some bull.. So unless a Chevy dealership could sell me stock rs halos that fit in a non rs camaro which I have no idea if they will or not regardless that's a lot of money I have no clue how much exactly
Basically I'm 18 years old starting my camaro life and made the mistake of not getting an rs +1 to all you v8's and rs' owners out there Only way to get halos is to get them from a Chevy dealership according to what the guys at orileys and autozone said Guess ill just be getting some hid's until my next camaro |

Completely incorrect information. You can get them from Ofer and install them and you are fine. Any light in the front of the car is fine as long as you stay away from the Red/Blue colors. Stick with white just to be safe. It doesn't matter if it is a GM part or not, Halos are perfectly fine even if you make them yourself (a few good DIY's here to make them yourself for a fraction of the cost of official GM ones if you're interested in that route...).
Whatever you do, don't have your front lights Blue/Red and make sure they are constant aka not flashing/strobing/fading while driving and you'll be good. |
