Where is the August Camaro Sales Thread?
I figured we would have 10 pages by now.

The usual crowd revived the July sales thread, they just couldn't wait to cut and paste everything to the August thread.

Maybe everything that could be said about the disappointing sales has already been said? :P

August numbers aren't out yet, why would there be a thread already?

LOL...the usual crowd? You post in every one of those. So do I. We all do for the most part. It's entertaining if nothing else.

well someone needs to post positive comments about the car, it can't be overrun by the usual haters

Do August numbers only reflect 2016? Or do they take all new 2106s and 2017s into account?

Summer and 10% off helped some. Not too bad, almost up to 6k.

Sadly I do not see the 2016 Camaro inventory dropping at local dealers by much over the past month. Must be a lot of 2017 delivers and not really a 2016 closeout month.
If you bought last week, GM was letting dealers chop another 8% on top of the 10% off deal. Cut the dealer profit a little and it sounds like 20% was possible. Hope any new 2016 buyers last week got themselves a great deal. We got rid of our other vehicles and I put the woman in a 2016 Equinox (soft ride, not enough power) for 30% plus dealer bought the GAP policy and threw cargo mat (saved me another 600 between those) which puts the total save as 32% of MSRP. Personally I would've put her in the Colorado. But she wanted the Equinox and heated seats (you need to go 35k+ in the Colorado for heated seats). |
