The dealer did top off the tank when I bought the car so I'm hoping bad gas is the cause. I'll update if it improves or not.

*Update* pulled fuses earlier and went back out after 3 hours. Car still felt weak as hell.... Only other thing I can think of it that there was still some 87 in it that put it back to the low octane table. Ran it hard on the way home to hopefully clear that 87 out and just pulled the fuses again in my driveway. Will update when I put them back in... Really hoping it works. Heavy car or not over 400ft lbs should be plenty to break the tires loose from a low speed hit. Is that normal for these cars? Would really like some insight from others on how their car performs and accelerates. Car feels like it has nothing at low speeds, throttle response is unimpressive as well. It doesn't "hit" me when I slam the pedal. Would be pathetic if I end up wishing I kept my 4th gen...
turn your traction control off!!!

seriously I could Melt the tires from the day I bought my 2011...hence going through 3 sets of tires....something is wrong. check to see what mode its in, turn TC off, you should be able to melt tires too.

Tryn it on my 1LE LS3. Will install fuses later this afternoon to see if there is a difference. Ive never put anything less than 93 octane on the car but the dealer may have put 87. We'll see it has 5k miles on it so its plenty broke in.

*Edit*- Didn't get to change my oil yesterday thanks to south Floridas wonderful summer weather. But I did fill my tank and do the fuse pull and once again, no difference.... Theres no way it's NOT in the high octane table by this point (if it was ever even in the low octane table). So I guess I better just hope that it wakes up after a couple thousand more miles. Still pretty disappointed... But too late to turn back now.
I remember mine waking up at about 4K KM (I live in Canada). I didn't do the fuse pull and I could truly feel a considerable difference

I pulled the fuses out of my hot water heater at home but the water still runs out if we use it too much.

But are you sure you left them out long enough?

Did it yesterday on my 2015 2SS and noticed better low end responsiveness. Took her out the interstate and high end revs and shifts seems more crisp.

Hey guys new to this board and the Camaro world but not to the LS world. I have a 06 GTO(cam only) and a 07 Grand Prix GXP with the LS4(bone stock) So this car has 2k miles on it and honestly my bone stock GXP feels faster so I did this fuse pull you all speak of and did notice a significant difference until what felt like it knocked and now its slow as shit again. I was wondering does anyone know at what throttle % Power Enrich is enabled prior to a tune? 2nd question is the L99 AFM noisy? Under hardly any throttle the engine squeaks almost like a clutch on a fan is engaging about 1200-1500rpms. I appreciate any input!

I bought my 2011 2SS RS with an L99 a couple of months ago used. Filled it up with 93 octane the first few times as is my habit. The MPG was around 13.5MPG. The last tank I filled it up with 87 for the heck of it. I listened to see if there was any knocking or loss of power. It ran the same. In fact the MPG went up to 16MPG! I'm still stumped how how this could be. I do have poorly installed Flowmasters that clunk when I go over a big bump. Could the car have been in the low octane tables when I bought it? Maybe that's why it's running more efficient on lower octane? Performance-wise I have nothing to compare it to. Even though it's a heavy car it feels as fast as, if not faster than other 400HP cars I've had (Viper, Vette, XKR). BTW, The On-Star app says the "lifetime MPG" is 15.

Do I have anything to lose doing the fuse pull after I run through a couple of tanks of 93? I think I read in an earlier part of this thread that the fuse pull doesn't help 2011 models.

If you have Flowmasters like I do the AFM is noisy and annoying as hell! They amplify the good and the bad. Unless I'm in bumper to bumper traffic I always drive in manual mode because of it. I'll tune it off once my factory warranty expires at the end of the year. The stock mufflers have J pipes in them to reduce drone and presumably AFM fart. Lots of other threads on that subject.

I've had my car for about 3 weeks. Never owned a performance car before!! I purchased this car from an undividual and not a dealership. 2012 ss and only had 3500 miles on it when I drove off. I added a cai and had a muffler delete done. The car ran pretty good And sounded great. But I read this thread and Thot what cud it hurt. Might as well try the fuse pull thing. Never no what gas the guy ran in it before I got it. And I had no experience with a car like this so I Thot what if it cud be better. Well now that I have done it I swear it's not near as powerful and the exhaust doesn't sound as aggressive as it did. What I have goin on here???? I filled with 93 before I did the fuse pull

run a couple of more tank fulls of that 93 then do the fuse pull (#5 & #20) again, but over night.

that may help you out.

Ok thanks I'll give it a try. It's not a daily driver so it'll take alittle while to get thru a couple tanks. And 93 isn't easy to find around here. Will 91 still be ok. They have it everywhere
