Good pic....How you get off will depend on what it is. It's obviously from your elbow, is it just skin oils or is it a specific thing like suntan lotion?

Eventually skin oils cause a problem. That's why every car that I've ever owned in the past five years I've used a console cover on that center section.

Try some Inside from Carpro, I have found that takes care of a lot of stains, not harsh at all and smells nice too. You can top with a leather conditioner or coat it with something like PERL, which is a Silica based coating, just mix it according to the leather application on the bottle.

Well, I too have had the oil staining from one of my clubs laying on an armrest or console. I've tried this in the past with the hair dryer as discribed. It worked for me.

Hope it comes off. That is why I never put my bare elbow on the arm rest.

I can try that.
I attempted to use soap and water and it didn’t get the job done.

The arm rest is coated leather, all leather that comes in modern cars is coated, the reason soap/water didn't work is the dirt/oil is bonded to the coating.
Use some all purpose cleaner, I'm sure you have some of that, read the directions for dilution ratio. After cleaning wipe with damp microfiber to remove any APC residue.
Never think scrub hard, think wipe gently.
