The M3's color is so divisive. I just enjoy seeing other people's emotion on this color. They either love it, or hate it, or hate it but pretend love it.

But, it seems time for me to go back to a normal color for now, then next car I will go crazy color again.

I also came from an F80 M3 Sakhir Orange to my Red Hot ZL1.
I have never looked back... The magnetic ride control wipes the floor with the BMW suspension. I feel more special in my Chevy than i ever did in the BMW.

Also you way want to peak at the front springs on the ZL1, it looks to be setting kinda high in the front and I'd bet the dealer forgot to take out the shipping spring spacers, mine did. They are an orange rubber spacer, pretty easy to spot if they are still in there.

Yeah, there's an M3 in this color I occasionally see parked at my gym - the exterior I can sort of get behind, it's unique, those kind of colors work well on cars like the M3/4, but WITF would you match that with a __red__ interior?

Don't get me wrong, I love me some red interior, I've had 3 rides (including the current one) with red, and it's a great contrast with a neutral exterior (black/white/gray/silver), but against a pale yellow-green? Yikes.

I was kind of pushing for the optional red interior on the DDRT we just bought, but would've done that with a black exterior, and I wasn't ready for maintaining that acre of black ... wound up with Redline Red exterior (black interior), it's a blast on that truck

I think I'm going back the other way like you mentioned for my main ride too. After a run of those neutral exteriors (including another "**** me, why do I keep buying this color" black car) I've got my sights on a more bold exterior for the up coming ZL1 purchase: blue, red, possibly yellow (I had a yellow Z06, loved the color, just not sure if it works as well on the ZL1).

I think its a great color on that car. It would be interesting to see what a ZL1 would look like wearing that color. Can't go wrong with a black ZL1though other than being a PITA to keep clean.
