If it’s all this stuff shown in the picture then yes. You just have to get it installed and get the car recalibrated for the gears or the speedometer will be off.

I called one dealer who won't install nor warranty it.

I don't think a second one will calibrate it. I also can't provide my own parts.

Plenty of non-dealers will install and you can bring your own parts..

As far as the specific part question, I've been told you should also have a spare Race and some other part I can't remember.

I based my decision off this post and bought used 3.91 and now I can't sell my old one. Lol. Should have just got the 3.73's new. Hopefully someone will eventually.

It would be nice to have the gm 2 years part warranty. Of course another shop can do it, but no warranty.

I was planning doing the ZL1 shifter and 3.91's.

What is actually needed? Is it just the ring and pinion?

I have seen different packages offered.

Just have the shop warranty their work, I've heard very few, if any complaints about the parts themselves.

I asked dynosteve to do my install when I was passing through, and RDP Motorsport did a great job on my install. I think any competent shop can do this work if they have attention to detail and do the work the right way. Depending on your mileage, it may also be a good opportunity to do some inspection work under the car. How much corrosion is down there? What color is the differential fluid? Is your poorly designed tunnel brace rubbing your performance exhaust? Any time you can get under the car is a good time to take a look at the material condition of your car.

Appreciate the advice ashen, I went to the site and you have to have 40 post before you can sell on their site.
