If the "fix" that was previously applied fails, do they just reapply the "fix" or is there a permanent "fix"?

The permanent fix would be to replace the exhaust but good luck getting that done. On my 2017, they wont even fix it with the epoxy stating that 2017's aren't under any advisement to be fixed. I am so dissapointed and will not be keeping this car long. First new Chevrolet and last one I will own. I am going back to Audi or Honda or Infiniti. All of them were trouble free

getting rid of this car for a bit of rattle from exhaust? And trade it in for a Honda ? just pull the fuse for now, later on swap the exhaust for a borla.

But, trading it in for a Honda?

I did and it lasted a few weeks. The point here is that a 54k car shouldn't have this issue especially since it's not just a small number of affected cars and if it does happen, the manufacturer should stand behind it.

It really does suck that some cars are having this issue...

I just had to chime in: the price has nothing to do with it. Whether it's 10k, or 100k...parts are parts, and sometimes they don't work.

You're right that the manufacturer should stand behind it. For their part - they've got a fix, and have updated said fix with new information, which is good.....but it's very strange that it's not working for some people.

Could you please elaborate on the information on the fix that's new or updated?

Thanks.

I just remember reading an addendum to the TSB about different epoxies a few months after the initial release. I couldn't provide details, as I didn't save anything...sorry!

Can someone find the latest tsb with the correct epoxy? I had the tsb performed months ago and the rattle came back about a month after. If someone has the correct fix, I might just DIY fix it at home.

Awesome thanks! How difficult is it to reach back there? I wonder if I can get it with a q-tip taped to my screwdriver.

EDIT:
Just read the TSB thats probably where I had the screwdriver idea from.
