So the build and price is up.

GT Fastback( non premium) with performance package and active exhaust its 51.3k. No heated seats. No dual zone climate. No leather.

Iss 1le is 49k. Seems like like better deal. Hopefully we got some track comparisons by the magazines soon. Ford should because its more powerful but by how much?

Gotta pay extra for recaros (1,650) and magneride (1,750) on the mustang as well if you want it to be as close to a 1le as possible. Still no e-diff though.

I just looked and didn't see those for the 2024. Where did you see them?

Found them. Those are only available for the premium GT not base so if you want to include them it forces the price up. Maybe compare to a 2SS/1LE?

Premium gt price with those options

PRICING SUMMARY
BASE MSRPS1
$47,015
OPTIONSS4
+ $9,620
ACCESSORIESS8
+ $0
DESTINATION CHARGESS17
+ $1,595
TOTAL MSRPS16
= $58,230
ESTIMATED NET PRICES5
= $58,230
MONTHLY PAYMENTS6
$1,038

I got 57,990 for a 2SS/1LE.

IMO a SS/1LE is not comparable to the GT/PP1 as a track toy, the trans and cooling being the limiting factors on the Mustang even if you spec everything else the same. You have to get the DH to be a valid comp and even a base DH w/HP is way more $$$ than a 2SS/1LE.

Good catch. Wow I can’t believe ford makes you get the premium in order to get those options. Admittedly, that’s what I was building since I have a deposit on a 23 2ss 1le but with the msrp increases of both cars, it probably would have pushed me to a base/1ss (or a Supra more likely).

Agreed. Darkhorse would be the competitor to a 1LE. Does the PP1 come with Recaros or are they an option?

Personally I dont think PP1 is a 1LE competitor that was the short lived PP2. Think someone else mentioned it doesn't come with the transmission or diff coolers either. PP1 is a sorta halfway option. Better handling but not track ready.
