Buying a 2018 SS with 55k miles.
Hi all,
I am looking into getting a Camaro SS and was curious of your opinions on a 2018 that has 55k miles on it? Is that too many miles for that new of car? Thanks. |

Was it a rental? If yes, I'd stay away. Is it also an A8, if yes then stay the hell away.

Yes it is alot of miles. Depending on the price, I would just keep looking.

Does it come with any warranty?
BTW - I have 15,000 miles on my 2018 2SS. |

I agree it depends on the price, that seems like too many miles for an 18, do you know who owned it? Was it a rental that got beat on or little old lady driving lots on a highway ?

To me 55,000 miles is a lot for a 2018 and I would keep looking for one with less miles.

Well, that is about 18,300 miles a year for 3 years. Average is 12,000 a year. If the price is right, go for it.

It’s a lot of miles considering it’s a 2018 clearly daily driven / used on daily commutes. So it biggest issues are probably going to be typical daily driver wear & tear for the mileage, and with it being an A8 probably transmission shudder.

Thanks all, appreciate the feedback, its listed at 24k. I requested a carfax and I would be the 5th owner and it was a rental for about 15k miles so I think I'm going to pass on it.

Yeah run, don't just walk away from this car if it was a rental.

55 seems really high. I would personally pay more for less on this one.
