You say you like the 17-18 better - are you talking specifically about the front bumper appearance? Or are there other things as well?

Aside from the HUD which you mentioned, what other changes from your '17 1SS do you like?

Just the front bumper on the 16-18. The 6 piston Brembos (mine had 4 piston unpainted nasty calipers), Recaros, the amazing suspension, the awesome 1LE wheels and Goodyear tires. I told people the chassis on the Alpha platform was magical IMO. This just took it to a whole different level. The electronic portion of the instrument cluster is slightly different, the radio is slightly different, and the base radio/speakers seems to sound a little better than my 17. Love the front splitter, black hood, rear black flush spoiler, and black mirrors. Just spent the last few hours driving down back roads just having a great time.

I paid $2,500 to have Xpel Ultimate applied to the splitter, bumper cover, hood (full), fenders (full), mirror caps, door cups, rocker panels (full), bottom of the doors, and behind the rear wheels. Money well spent, IMO.

Ouch, guess I will take the ceramic a little more seriously. My paint on my 17 SS help up fantastic. I had a few rock chips on the front bumper and the stupid ones in front of the rear wheels. Obviously, ceramic coating does nothing for rocks and debris.

Ouch, I paid about $1,880 in SoCal for the same (no splitter) AND I got the windows tinted as well as part of that price...
