Side fender emblem/logo question
Hey fellow Camaro lovers!
Today I was about to replace the stock Camaro emblem at the side fenders and realized that, at least on my Camaro, the emblems are not perfectly level, but skewed with the angle near the tire lower than the other angle. Is this normal, to follow the line in the body that goes all over the side? Or in reality the emblem should be level? |

When.I put my 1LE badges on I taped the the bottom of the Camaro badge before removing it then used that line for the 1LE badge. You're right though it is slightly tilted.

Thanks for the tip. I haven't gotten around to installing my 1LE emblem but I was thinking I should level it to the ground and not body lines. You confirmed my thoughts.

I used a small torpedo level and painters tape to get a straight level tape line and then applied the emblems.

Yes they are slightly angled as to follow the slight rake of the car

Do you guys have a picture of what is like with the leveled emblem?
I have a new "CAMARO" emblem from GM ready to be installed but not sure if I should do it level (by using a laser level) or following the body lines like the stock emblem. |

Did you get that, or the new Panther emblem kit (because that one is cheeeep, GM doesn't include anything else with it)?

Just curious, the template starts where the fender has the body line, correct? Do you have photos of how it turned out? |
