I will say for those thinking about doing the 15” conversion…don’t! Not worth the headache. The 305/45/17 was smooth as silk down the track and I might convert back. I’m seeing S550 Mustangs deep into the 8’s on 17” drag radials. I should have started messing with the shocks much sooner. The base SS suspension (FE3) is fine at the strip for a while, but once you really need to get big power down (and consistent sub 1.5 sec 60’ times), it doesn’t cut it. The more you know…lol!

Also, sorry for muddying your thread up @Dynamical. It’s easy for us old timers to go off on a tangent haha. Shouldn’t lose sight of you getting into the 11’s virtually stock.
